About

Hey! Welcome to my blog! My name’s Kelly Caulfield and I’m a freshman at the University of Maryland. I’m from Bethesda, MD, which is only a 30 minute drive from campus and a 10 minute drive from DC. I have an older brother, who will be attending UMD as a junior next year, a twin brother at Miami University in Ohio, and a younger sister. I also have two AMAZING parents and a wonderful dog, Kacey.

This blog was created for my English 293: Writing in the Wireless World class. Included in this blog are various blog posts concerning the different units we covered and some of the assignments we turned in throughout the course of the semester. The class’s main focus is writing for and in digital spaces.

In this course, we learned to understand rhetoric of multimodal sources, apply design principles to a range of multimodal writing genres, understand space rhetorically, create multimodal projects, ad use game design to create rhetorical arguments. The growth of my understanding of these elements are certainly evident throughout my blog. So, sit back, grab some popcorn, and enjoy my blog as you explore my growth as a student in English 293.

XOXO,

Kelly
